Pete talks about FORCE IT:

FORCE IT was a funny thing, because that was the one that Leo Lyons let us use as much time as possible doing solos. Ten Years After (Leo's band) had long guitar solos. So, there were songs with long guitar solos.

We had songs, we had style, and the playing was important, but we always thought of other bands as better than us. Actually, in the end, you look back and think "it's pretty fucking good as a band." That went to top 50 in America, out of the blue. I guess it was because of our getting exposure and touring America.

We did some really weird touring, for FORCE IT. People like Rick Wakeman. We headlined some dates. We still played with everybody.
